How long does it take a letter to get to Italy from U.S.A and how much does it cost?

    Charlie has the price right.

I live near Verona. When I get letters from my family in the US, it usually takes 5 to 8 days from the time the letter was post-marked to the time it arrives. I’ve never had a simple letter delayed in customs. Packages can take longer because they have to go through customs and sometimes the paperwork is incorrect or there are questions about taxes due. In that case, delivery can take up to a couple of months.

A normal size one ounce letter to Italy needs 98 cents postage. The postage to Mexico and Canada is 75 cents, and to every other country in the world, it is 98 cents for a one ounce letter. Letters to countires in Europe usually arrive in 1 1/2 to 2 weeks, occasionally less.
