I’d never heard of them until I saw them mentioned here a few times.

After doing some research on the net the whole thing looks extremely dodgy and expensive.
For starters, if you don’t know how they got your name that would send up a red flag for me.

Here are a couple of reports I’ve found about this organisation. Read them and make up your own mind.
Personally, I wouldn’t get involved in any way.

I just got my second one today. I got accepted last year for the china program because a teacher recomended me but I couldnt afford the trip but this year I got one for Europe and they found me through the college acceptance board, from my psat. I am so excited and I think were going to go to the meeting. You have to be smart to get into the program and not everyone gets in, it’s a very prestigious program. To get reserved at a meeting go to the link in your letter and type in your pin.

Don’t do it. It’s real and all but it’s a waste of money.
    I’ve been invited since I was 11 and I’m 13 now.
I didn’t know about that guy dying until now and now I really don’t want to go, that’s scary!
Someone recommended you, people say teachers but that’s not always true because you can recommend whoever you want. I recommended my younger brother on the actual People to People Student Ambassadors site and he ended up getting invited and he’s not that smart. (Although I know my teacher recommended me because she told me because I did have good grades.)
Depending on where your going it will cost a certain amount.
If you are going to Hawaii then it will probably be 3,000 dollars.
Australia/NZ will probably be between 4,000 and 6,000 dollars.
Places like Germany and Rome, ect more like 6,000 to 8,000 dollars.
It all depends. You have to attend the meeting to find out for sure.
Then they’ll have you apply to get in, you have to answer questions and stuff Nothing bad so don’t worry about it.
questions include possibly : "if other kids wanted to sneak out, what would you do?" and "who would you want to meet, dead or alive?" ect.
Atleast those are some of the questions I got asked.
    Hope I helped :)

First off, don’t say the program is a scam until you’ve experienced it first hand. I’ve been on 2 people to people trips now and I can say honestly, it is life changing. For the things you get to do, it is worth the price. The safety is top of the line, I would know. Check it out, you won’t regret it.
